Having injuries on your roster just no longer carries the same weight that it used to. That was a coach of the year type of game by Kyle Shanahan. The way in which that game was called was the reason that the 40 Niners won that game, amongst some issues by the Philadelphia Eagles. But really, you don't win that game given the injuries. You don't even make the playoffs. Frankly, given the injuries that this team has faced, if you don't have a good head coach, coaching matters.

So not only is Kyle Shanahan doing an exceptional job of calling a game that can work around your stars being injured, still find ways to win, make the playoffs, advance to the second round of the playoffs.

The 40 Niners have been an injured roster for the last few seasons. It's been pretty devastating to watch them just constantly struggle with this issue, but to watch them not flinch and continue to rise to the occasion, continue to win, continue to make the playoffs despite the injuries to their stars.
